Our Rabbi

Rabbi Michael C. Simon

Temple Beth Kodesh is pleased to have Rabbi Michael C. Simon as our spiritual leader.

"Ivdu et hashem b'simcha" (Serve God with joy!) is Rabbi Simon's motto. He brings that joy and enthusiasm to our pulpit through his meaningful and topical sermons, innovative and interesting services, programs, classes and lectures.

Rabbi Simon practiced law for 20 years before turning to the rabbinate full-time. Rabbi Simon is also an Adjunct Professor of Rabbinics at Gratz College, a faculty member of the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School, a popular lecturer on topics related to rabbinic literature and early rabbinic Judaism throughout South Florida and a frequent contributor of opinion pieces to the South Florida Jewish Journal.

In 2008 Rabbi Simon received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree in recognition of his years of service to the Jewish community.
