Cantor Michael Glozman

Cantor Michael Glozman is the Cantor at Temple Beth Kodesh. He is a Russian born Israeli musician. Michael graduated as a choir conductor from the Moscow Academy of Chorale Art and as Cantor from The Tel Aviv Cantorial Institute. He is also a composer and music arranger. Michael has composed music for numerous plays on the Israeli stage, among them: Bashevis Singer’s “The Last Devil”, Daniil Kharms “The Old Woman and the Magician” (Malenky Theater), and Kobo Abe’s “Woman in the Dunes” (Theater Zero). He has also achieved success as an actor, singer, and music director having collaborated with The New Israeli Opera, the Gesher Theatre and Beit-Zvi School for the Performing Arts. Michael has also worked with highly acclaimed Israeli cantors and conductors throughout Israel, Europe and America. He has been involved in many productions and concerts under conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Daniel Oren, and Kurt Masur. Michael has a daughter, Yael, who is working towards a degree in nursing studies at Tel Aviv University.
